Annual General Meeting

Children’s Bridge (“CB”) is a member-owned, not-for-profit corporation. Its affairs are governed generally through a comprehensive operating by-law. To view a consolidated version of the CB Operating By-Law (the “By-Law”), click here.

A volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the operations of CB. It is elected by the members of CB in accordance with the By-Law at the annual general meeting. The By-Law allows for a Board of Directors of between 5 and 12 members. The current Board of Directors has 9 members. To view a list of the current Board of Directors, click here.

The Board of Directors oversees the activities of a series of standing committees. To view a list of the standing committees, together with the name of the responsible Director and a description of the committee’s mandate, click here.

The Board of Directors is always interested in hearing ideas and comments from members of CB.
